Disciplined Relaxation of Geometry

This project, based on Project Seoul (International Idea Competition for Urban Innovations of Unused Spaces in Seoul): proposing a design for one of twelve low-use urban spaces and general areas within Seoul Metropolitan City, illustrates a particular interest in an emancipation from the insidious influence of orthographic projection (plan, section, elevation) and its implicit relationship to geometry and statics. The result is the design of a megaform multi-use structure in Seoul, South Korea, that combines a shopping mall, office spaces, and apartments.
